Healthy Turkey Spaghetti Recipe Ingredients:

1 pound ground turkey
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (10 ounce) can Rotel, mild or hot
1 half of a medium onion, chopped
1 half of a medium bell pepper, chopped
3 Large tomatoes
1 (16 ounce) box of whole grain angel hair spaghetti noodles
¼ teaspoon garlic powder, divided in half
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Healthy Turkey Spaghetti Recipe Instructions:

In a sauce pan, cover tomatoes with water and bring to a boil. Cook until tomatoes are cooked and skin starts to pull away.

Cook the angel hair spaghetti according to package instructions.

In a frying pan or skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground turkey, bell pepper, and onion. Sprinkle half the garlic powder over the meat and vegetables and stir to break up the ground turkey and mix the other ingredients. Cook until turkey is cooked and onions and peppers are tender.

While the ground turkey, onions and peppers are cooking, drain water from tomatoes. With fork or potato masher, crush the tomatoes. Add tomato paste and Rotel to crush tomatoes. Add remaining garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until it reaches desired thickness.
Pour sauce over ground turkey, onion, and pepper mixture.
Put angel hair spaghetti on plates and spoon sauce over the noodles. Serve this healthy turkey spaghetti recipe with a light salad and garlic bread and enjoy!
