Baked Garlic Chicken Recipe

Baked Garlic Chicken Recipe Ingredients:
6 to 8 boneless chicken breast halves
2 heads of fresh garlic, divided into cloves
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
3 celery ribs, cut into 1 inch pieces
½ teaspoon grated lemon zest
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
½ cup dry white wine
¼ cup olive oil
Baked Garlic Chicken Recipe Instructions:
Heat the oven to 375 degrees.
Place chicken evenly and in one layer, into a large baking dish. (13” x 9” x 2”).
Sprinkle the garlic cloves and celery pieces over the chicken.
In a bowl, mix white wine, olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, basil, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper. Then pour over the boneless skinless chicken breast.
Now sprinkle the grated lemon zest over the chicken.
Cover and bake for 40 minutes.
Remove the cover and bake 10 to 15 more minutes, or until chicken is done and tender.
