Baked Chicken with French Onion Sauce
Baked chicken is always good. Add French onion sauce to it and you have something special! What isn’t good when you add French fried onions to it?
Baked Chicken with French Onion Sauce Ingredients:
4 boneless chicken breast
1 (12 – 16 ounce) package of frozen stir-fry vegetables
¼ tsp. seasoned salt
1 ? cups French fried onions
¼ cup white wine
1 (12 ounce) jar of chicken gravy
¼ cup water
Baked Chicken with French Onion Sauce Instructions:
Thaw and drain the frozen stir-fry vegetables.
Heat the oven to 400 degrees.
Grease or spray a 2 quart baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Mix the stir-fry vegetables, ? cup of the French fried onions, wine, water, and gravy in the baking dish.
Arrange the boneless chicken breast on top of the vegetables and sprinkle with the seasoned salt.
Uncovered, bake for 30 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in the middle. Stir the stir-fry vegetables around the boneless chicken breast and sprinkle the remaining French fried onions on top. Bake an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
Remove the baked chicken with French onion sauce from the oven and serve with cooked rice or even noodles. You and your family or guest will truly love the taste of this baked chicken recipe!
