Chicken Pita Bread with Hummus
You’ll love the taste of this chicken pita bread recipe. I discovered the great taste of hummus and this is the best hummus recipe I’ve found so far. I’m still working on it so there will be more to come, but this chicken pita recipe is going to be hard to beat.
Chicken Pita Bread with Hummus Ingredients:
4 to 6 boneless chicken breast halves
Garlic salt (to taste)
Sliced red bell pepper
Sliced green bell pepper
Sliced yellow bell pepper
Chicken Pita Bread with Hummus Instructions:
Heat grill to medium heat.
Season chicken breast with garlic salt to taste.
Place chicken on the grill and cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until browned on one side.
Turn chicken breast and cook on the other side until done.
Chop chicken into desired size.
With a spoon, spread hummus inside the pita bread.
Stuff the pita bread with the spinach, pepper, onion, shredded carrots and chicken.
Cut in half and share if desired.
Chicken pita bread with hummus goes great with potato chips or just eat them by themselves for a great healthy pita bread sandwich. Enjoy!
