Pesto Chicken Pasta for Mothers Day Dinner
It will soon be time for that mothers day dinner with mom. You may have already figured out a gift to give her. Or you may be like me and wait until it’s almost on here and spend a couple of days racking your brain and the stores for that gift.
Some of the best gift ideas are actually quick dinner ideas. That’s right! Sit Mom down in the living room, make her a cool drink, and help her put her feet up. And jump on cooking that mothers day dinner. And Pesto Chicken Pasta is one of the best easy and quick dinner ideas out there. And it tastes so good.
Ingredients:
2 cups of cubed chicken breast
8 ounces penne or any medium
1 envelope of pesto sauce mix
¾ cup of milk
¼ cup olive or vegetable oil
Shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Heat a couple tablespoons of oil in a skillet and brown the chicken cubes until they’re no longer pink.
Cook the pasta according to the directions on the package.
Meanwhile; in a large saucepan, mix together the pesto mix, oil, and milk. Bring this to a boil and then reduce the heat. Simmer for 5 minutes with the cover on it.
Then add the chicken.
Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce. Stir or toss to get everything all nice and coated with the pesto sauce. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese.
