1/2 gallon buttermilk
2 pounds of chicken ( any pieces)
3 eggs
2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 tsp ground white pepper
2 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
Vegetable oil to deep fry
Directions
Place chicken into a large bowl, and pour in 1/2 gallon of buttermilk.
Cover the chicken, and put it refrigerate overnight!
Remove the chicken from the fridge, and drain the buttermilk.
In a large bowl crack open two large eggs, and beat them.
Coat the chicken with the egg mixture, then sprinkle in 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp white ground pepper, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 2 tsp poultry seasoning.
In a separate bowl, add 2 cups all purpose flour, 2 tsp onion powder, 2 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp salt. Mix together well.
Coat the chicken with the seasoned flour, then dip in back into the egg mixture, then once more with the flour mixture.
Pour oil into your deep fryer, and heat it until it reaches about 360 degrees.
Deep fry the chicken until each peace is completely done.
Remove the chicken from the fryer, and place it on a paper towel lined bowl.
Let the chicken sit for 5 minutes, or long enough to safely eat.
