White Barbecue Sauce Chicken Breast
Barbecue sauce brings to mind the sweet and tangy brownish red sauce that adds flavor to our chicken breast and other meats often cooked on the grill. White barbecue sauce chicken breast puts a different spin and color on it.
White Barbecue Sauce Chicken Breast Ingredients:
2 boneless chicken breast
? cup mayonnaise
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
¼ cup lemon juice
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
White Barbecue Sauce Chicken Breast Instructions:
In a bowl, mix the salt, pepper, mayonnaise, and sugar. Then gradually stir in the vinegar and lemon juice.
In a zipper seal bag, add ½ cup of the mixture and chicken breast. Seal the bag and massage it lightly with your
hands until the chicken is well coated. Place in the refrigerator to marinate at least 1 hour. For more flavor marinate the chicken breast in the barbecue sauce for 8 to 12 hours. Cover and refrigerate the remaining barbecue sauce while the chicken breast is marinating.
After marinating, remove the boneless chicken breast from the marinade and discard the portion of the barbecue sauce that the chicken was in.
Heat the grill to a medium heat; place the chicken breast on the grill and cover. Basting often with the remaining white barbecue sauce; cook the boneless chicken breast 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until the juices run clear.
Serve the white barbecue sauce chicken breast with potato salad or another of your favorite sides for grilled chicken breast.
