French Chicken Marengo

French Chicken Marengo Ingredients:
1 whole chicken, cut up (3 to 4 pounds)
¼ cup white wine
1 (14 ounce) can Italian style diced tomatoes
½ teaspoon dried thyme
? teaspoon dried rosemary
¼ pound sliced mushrooms
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
2 medium onions thin sliced
3 tablespoons olive oil
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
French Chicken Marengo Instructions:
Sprinkle salt and pepper on chicken and rub it in to make sure it’s coated well.
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat, then brown the chicken on both sides. Remove the chicken from the frying pan and set to the side.
Add the garlic powder, onions and mushrooms to the frying pan and cook till tender.
Put the chicken back into the frying pan and sprinkle with the rosemary, thyme, and parsley. Then add the white wine and tomatoes.
