INGREDIENTS:
1 lb of boneless chicken breasts
2 cups of whole wheat rotini noodles
1 cup of chopped carrots
1/2 cup of chopped celery
2 cups of chicken broth from cooking
2 cups of chicken broth from Swanson broth
1 cup of water
2 tsp chicken flavor bouillon
1 tsp basil
1 cup of diced onions
1 tsp tyme
2 tsp of garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
For this super easy chicken noodle soup, you are going to incorporate all of the above ingredients, and then bring it all to a boil. Once there is a nice boil going on, cut it down to a simmer. That’s it. It’s so easy!
First, you’re going to put your chicken in the pot. It doesn’t matter how you put it in there, so do whatever you please. Then, add the onions, celery, and carrots. Just dump it all in there! Then, add the broth. Then, add your water, followed by the Swanson’s chicken broth. You’re going to add the whole box. Once you’ve got the broth stirred in, you’re going to want to put that bit of Thyme, basil, and garlic powder in there. Then, add your salt and pepper – as much as you like! Finally, add your chicken bouillon. If you used bone chicken, you do not need that extra chicken flavor.
Mix all that in, and then add the noodles. Stir it all up, and put it on the stove to bring to a boil. When it comes to a nice boil, cut it down to a simmer. Let it do its thing for two hours.
Well, that’s all there is to it! This super easy chicken soup recipe not only tastes good, but it’s also good FOR you. Your family and friends will be amazed at your delicious, mouth-watering dish, and even the pickiest little eaters will wolf it down! Not only is this recipe easy on your budget and time, but it’s easy on your waist-line, too. No need to fill guilty about seconds when it comes to this recipe!
