Quick Wild Duck Recipe

Quick Wild Duck Recipe Ingredients:
1 wild duck (of course)
1 tbsp. of butter
3 bacon strips (Love bacon strips? Make it 4 or 5 bacon strips)
1 tsp. of salt
Pepper to taste
3 tbsp. salad oil
Quick Wild Duck Recipe Instructions:
You’re gonna have to put cha hands on it with this one. Rub the salt and pepper all over the wild duck both inside and out.
Now place the wild duck into a small roasting pan with the breast side up. Then lay the bacon strips over the breast of the duck.
Pour the salad oil into the bottom of the roasting pan and put the butter inside the cavity of the duck.
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Make sure it is very hot. Cover the roasting pan tightly and cook the wild duck for 10 minutes.
Now turn the duck so that the breast side is down and roast the duck 10 more minutes.
Then remove the cover and continue to cook at 500 degrees until the back side of the duck is brown. About 10 to 15 minutes.
Turn the wild duck again, so that the breast of the duck is once again up, and roast another 10 to 15 minutes until the top is a delicious looking brown.
Now check for doneness by piercing the duck gently with a fork. If the juices run clear, it’s done. If blood runs, cover and cook an addition 10 minutes and check again. When the juice runs clear, you’re ready to carve and serve your quick wild duck recipe with the side dishes of your choice.
