Fast Chicken Tacos
You’ve worked all day and still have to cook for the family. You want something quick that the kids will love, but is Fast Chicken Tacoshealthier than a fast food joint. Here at we got ya covered with fast chicken tacos. The hardest part is the chopped onion and chopped tomatoes. It’s even easier if you have some leftover chicken already cooked.
Fast Chicken Tacos Ingredients:

2 to 3 cups cooked, chopped chicken

1 chopped onion

1 garlic clove, chopped

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon dried oregano

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 ½ cups grated Monterey jack cheese

1 jar taco sauce

12 taco shells

1 to 2 chopped tomatoes

Shredded lettuce

Fast Chicken Tacos Instructions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Place taco shells on a baking sheet.
Put taco shells in oven for 5 minutes.
While the taco shells are getting crisp in the oven, Heat olive oil in a large skillet or frying pan. Add onion and cook until tender.

Add garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute.
Add the chicken, and stir in the salt, black pepper, oregano, and cumin.
Cook until heated, stirring occasionally.
Fill the taco shells halfway with the chicken tacos filling.
Top each with Monterey jack cheese, chopped tomatoes and lettuce.
