Chicken Cheese Burger Recipe

This is a simple and very easy way to make a great tasting cheese burger that’s healthy and delicious. It’s also versatile. You can fry, bake or grill these chicken cheese burgers and they come out great! You may even throw out the ground beef forever in favor of this delicious chicken burger recipe! You’ll love it, the kids will love it, and everybody body will be full and happy!

 

Chicken Cheese Burger Recipe Ingredients:

 

1 pound ground chicken

¼ cup of onion and bell pepper, finely chopped and mixed. (About ⅛ of a small onion and ⅛ of a small bell pepper, chopped finely)

Olive oil

2 tablespoons of mayonnaise

1 cup fine shredded cheddar cheese

1 egg, beaten

½ cup Italian style bread crumbs

¼ teaspoon poultry or chicken seasoning

 

Chicken Cheese Burger Recipe Instructions:

 

In a small, microwave safe bowl, mix a dash of olive oil with the onions and bell pepper.

Heat onions and bell pepper in the microwave for about 1 minute.

Mix the ground chicken, onion and pepper, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, egg, and chicken seasoning together.

Form into 4 to 6 chicken patties.

Coat the patties with the Italian bread crumbs.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Add the chicken burger patties to the frying pan and cook until done and to desired crispness.

Remove patties from heat and place on buns with lettuce, tomato and desired condiments.

The chicken cheese burger recipe is also great on the grill, just omit the bread crumbs because they will fall off and burn. Enjoy!
